The Broward Alliance and WorkForce One Assist HEICO in Obtaining Incumbent Worker Training Grant
The Broward Alliance today announced that HEICO Corporation has been awarded a Florida Incumbent Worker Training Grant for $49,837 by Workforce Florida. The grant will help HEICO provide customized training for 60 existing employees at its Hollywood HEICO Parts Group. HEICO is the world’s largest independent producer of FAA-approved aircraft replacement parts.
“HEICO is to be commended for having a valuable training program for their employees and for keeping them up-to-date on the latest skills and technologies,” said James P. Tarlton (JT), president and chief executive officer of The Broward Alliance.
“Our goal is to retain and develop the best and most skilled Team Members, making the company one of the best in its field,” said Thomas Irwin, executive vice president & chief financial officer of HEICO. “This grant helps make those training resources possible and we appreciate The Broward Alliance helping to identify an appropriate grant through their partnership with WorkForce One.”
